• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1998 Town Car" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1998 Town Car" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... 2008 Navigator Remote Re-learning help wanted

Junior Member
I have a 2008 Navigator L and just recently purchased a replacement remote fob. Every time I use the unlock button on the remote, the personal setting of the vehicle changes. The side mirrors readjust and the steering wheel adjusts as well. Now I can close the door and push one of the setting buttons on the side of the driver seat to go back to my original settings. But when I get out of the truck, lock, and the come back and unlock with the remote, the settings change again. Anyone out there can advise me on how to remedy this?
