    Cabin Air Filter

Okay, I know where the cabin filter should be and I have a replacement. But the door does not exist, it is a solid piece plastic. Can I cut that out a install a filer? There is an odor when I turn on the AC and hope this would make it better. I do not want to cut out the panel/door if a filter will not slide in.

There is nothing to cut. I'm thinking there might be a tab release. Due to change mine again but I forget what it looks like.

I remember thinking the same thing after watching this video. When I took a closer look, I could see that there were tabs that needed to be released to access the filter.
